🧠 When Your Target Becomes a Certainty Your trade gets close to its profit target, then reverses and eventually hits your stop. Holding for a planned target is understandable, but thinking “it has to get there” can leave you attached to an outcome the market never guaranteed. That attachment can reveal a need for certainty. You may accept losses comfortably yet feel anxious about closing a winning trade because it could reach your target afterward. Fear of missing further gains can tempt you to break a commitment. Tino’s time-stop exercise tests that reaction: for a series of trades, choose a fixed holding period and close when the timer expires. Keep protective risk limits in place; the timer is no reason to tolerate extra drawdown. This is a behavioural exercise, not a method designed to make money. Record your emotions around the timed exit and whether you delayed closing. Check whether the thought of missing further gains made you override the commitment. A target reached after your exit does not mean you could have known that outcome beforehand. ✅ Trade on WEEX 💸
