🚨 EO 13848 — IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION ON THE 45-DAY TIMELINE I’m seeing a lot of people suggesting something BIG must happen 45 days after the election. But before we get ahead of ourselves, I encourage everyone to actually READ Executive Order 13848. There are TWO separate 45-day periods outlined in Sections 1(a) and 1(b): 1️⃣ FIRST 45 DAYS — December 18, 2026: The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) must assess potential foreign election interference and submit findings to the appropriate officials. 2️⃣ SECOND 45 DAYS — Approximately February 1, 2027: Following receipt of the DNI assessment, DOJ and DHS have another 45 days to evaluate whether foreign interference materially affected election infrastructure, vote tabulation, campaigns, or political organizations. That’s potentially 90 DAYS TOTAL, assuming the first assessment takes the full 45 days. And remember, these are deadlines for intelligence assessments and government reports — NOT guarantees of public disclosures or immediate action. Many are watching EO 13848 very closely, but let’s temper expectations, understand the actual process, and avoid setting arbitrary deadlines that create unnecessary disappointment. READ THE ORDER. UNDERSTAND THE TIMELINE. LET THE PROCESS PLAY OUT. Source: EO 13848, Sections 1(a) and 1(b). 🇺🇸🟨🇺🇸
