Did the war with Iran hurt Republicans in Tuesday's elections? President Trump says that's probably true. The president acknowledges that higher gas prices may have played a role in the party's losses after a reporter brings up Vice President JD Vance's assessment from his post earlier today on X. But Trump isn't backing away from the decision: "If I had it to do again, I'd have to do it again, because long term it's the only answer. You can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon."
